Sean
O'Keeffe
Sean O’Keeffe is a practicing artist, filmmaker, teacher and writer. He works in a variety of mediums ranging from video, painting drawing and site specific sculpture. Sean’s art practice has generally been a response to the environment he lives in and since 2005 has largely been a response to the environment of The Blue Mountains in NSW. He continues to travel regularly as part of his work and has exhibited both in Australia and Internationally. Sean has work in the collections of a number of public institutions including the Grafton Regional Art Gallery, The Broken Hill Regional Art Gallery, The Australian Centre for The Moving Image, and in private collections both in Australia and overseas. In 2016 Sean and his co-creator Carolyn Eccles won the Fishers Ghost Art Prize for Photography.
