Janet Saunders is an educator, researcher and visual artist. She is currently teaching Visual Communications at Western Sydney University. Her PhD titled, ‘Back to the Drawing Board?’ investigates the role and value of a rough sketch in the creative processes of graphic design students through the development of ‘speed’ drawing activities derived from her image making practice.
